Artist Bio
Randi Pert is a multidisciplinary artist based in Toronto, Ontario. She holds a BFA in Sculpture/Installation from OCAD University, and a certificate in Public History from Lakehead University. Her work has been shown in notable galleries, including Canadian Sculpture Centre, and Gladstone Hotel. She has previously been an exhibiting member of Artisans Northwest, Manitoba Craft Council, and International Art Collaborations Network.
Statement
My work is a practice in loving - gazing, admiring, collecting, and reconstructing. I work with fibrous materials that experience natural decay, and reconfigure them in a way that breathes new life. This act is intended to read like a love letter, highlighting the discreet details of the world around us.
